Jimmy is a very likeable hero, and his accidental sidekick Crazy Beard is a true original. It reminded me of the Deus Ex Machina of Greek plays.

Beannn mainly feel this way because the foreshadowing was quite obvious and took place right before the event it foreshadowed — it was like being told the ending of the book two pages before you read it. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.
